Sue, Love your site! Do you have any suggestions for kitty litter (do you have a special blend). My mom has multiple cats and I find some of the store brands have too much of a perfume odor (febreeze) and also wonder if this affects her cats.

I use about 1/2 -1 inch of Fresh results or Arm and Hammer Natural(ground corn and sawdust) then 6-8 inches of Tidy cat clumping litter (24/7 or instant action). Cats can be sensitive to perfume and dust, This usually manifests as runny eyes or nose, but can lead to them not using the box. Try to stay with the more"sawdusty" natural litter as the crystals are hard to get solids out of and most cats don't like to use them(also stepping on the ones on the floor is like walking on Lego blocks)

Excellent blog! Do you have any tips for aspiring writers? I'm hoping to start my own site soon but I'm a little lost on everything. Would you recommend starting with a free platform like Wordpress or go for a paid option? There are so many choices out there that I'm totally confused .. Any recommendations? Thanks!

As you may know this site is from Vistaprint. It was supper easy to set up, comes with more features than I have been able to figure out but I.m learning and they are always there to help. I tried to build a site on another company and had nothing but trouble. Our vet bought the software and managed to make one on her own so it really depends how much effort you want to go to. Mine took 2 days to build and publish, hers took 6 months.
