Good news/ bad news

Well the good news is that Ariel has been adopted.
The bad news is the family will have to wait 2 weeks while she gets over a bout of Coxidia as it is contageous and they have another dog.
Also on the bad news list:
Vermillion Parish has an emergency in thatsomeone started with just 2 cats but did not get them fixed. Now they have 64 and will be evicted on Friday the 21st if they are not removed. 20 males, 20 females and kittens between the ages of 3-6 weeks old. None are vetted and only 1 is fixed. They will be put down at Rabies Control if we cannot find other arrangements.
Anyone who can help- even if only to foster call Barbara (337)781-2362
Livingston Parish (Springfield) has a lady with 16 cats (all sweet inside cats, vetted fixed and tested) who is being evicted from her house on the 26th.
She has no place to go with her daughter and granddaughter and no place for the cats. Contact Lorrie at
Any help would be a blessing either to foster, pay for board or adopt
