The elderly man and his cat were living happily in his house in La Place. Then he died. His family threw/let his beloved cat outside, and the cat needs somewhere to go. Our shelter is packed, of course; we are trying to avoid dumping the cat onto them.We will provide vet check, testing, vax, and s/n....will transport within BR/NO area...maybe more. Please pass the word; maybe somebody knows somebody....must try.

Happy/sad ending to this story.....
Our boy was doing poorly outside even in the sheltered area a local family provided. We finally got him into a foster house but he was eating poorly and showed no enthusiasm for anything, We got him to the vet who diagnosed renal problems possibly kidney as well as liver and the descision was made to let him go.
If there is any justice in this existance he and his dad are back together again forever.
